  SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER (CERCLA and State Superfund projects) – Immediate opening for a senior risk manager with an interdisciplinary background, federal and NJ/NY State regulatory expertise and interest in managing large scale multi-media projects, typically associated with major waterways. Experience with applying adaptive management principles in the context of watershed planning and management desired. Strong PRP group leadership, negotiation, contractor oversight and team management skills are required. Candidates should have an advanced degree and relevant professional certification or registrations. Position is for the Manhattan Office of Environmental Liability Management, Inc.   DIRECTOR of ENGINEERING - Immediate opening for an individual to plan, oversee and coordinate engineering operations of the firm. This position reports to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and will be responsible for company-wide engineering functions including environmental site investigations and remediation, land use, and storm water management projects. Candidates must have an advanced degree and P.E. license, with at least 10 years of experience. The individual should have demonstrated experience and expertise in acting as a technical expert, maintaining proficiencies and developing engineering staff, and developing new clients and projects.   CIVIL/ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER - Immediate opening for an experienced engineer to support ongoing environmental projects involving stormwater management, landfill closures, solid waste and recycling facility siting and permitting, and environmental investigation and remediation projects. Air permitting and/or vapor intrusion engineering experience a plus. Candidates must be highly organized with demonstrated experience in civil and environmental engineering design and construction oversight. Candidates must have 5+ years experience and a PE license, plus excellent communication skills, including writing, and proficiency with software such as MS Project.   ENGINEER/ SCIENTIST – We are currently seeking an engineer/scientist to fill a Technical Specialist position in the Manhattan Office of Environmental Liability Management, Inc. This individual will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant experience in the NYC five boroughs with the application of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II Investigations, NYC Dept of Environmental Conservation Spill Assessment & Closure Activities, and a knowledge & understanding of NY and NYC environmental regulations. Experience in Brownfields and/or remedial design is a plus, but not required. Candidate must possess either an Engineer-In-Training or a Professional Geologist certification, and exhibit proficiency in completing relevant projects from proposal phase to project close out with minimal supervision from senior staff; demonstrate strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities; demonstrate ability to follow direction and work in a team environment; possess excellent communication, writing, and organization skills; and have the ability to multi-task. ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST -Immediate opening for an environmental professional with a strong background in one or more of the environmental sciences (e.g., ecology, geology, chemistry) and some cross-training in other relevant sciences, engineering, planning, or law/policy. The successful candidate will support ongoing environmental investigation and remediation projects, typically associated with major waterways. Advanced degree in a related field required. A strong working knowledge of environmental processes (physical, chemical, and biological) and data analysis is essential. Experience in freshwater/ estuarine systems, sediment management, and/or risk assessment is a plus. Candidates must be highly organized with 3+ years experience, plus excellent communication skills, including writing, and proficiency with software such as MS Excel and ArcGIS. CAD DRAFTER/IT SUPPORT – Progressive environmental consulting firm seeks qualified individual for GIS/IT Specialist position. Position will be based out of our Holicong PA (Bucks County) office. Candidate must possess: minimum 2 to 3 years experience in a professional office environment; proficiency in ESRI ArcView 9.X or higher; proficiency in preparing of presentation type figures, GIS analysis, and IT support; experience in software installation and troubleshooting minor IT problems.
