ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST -Immediate opening for an environmental professional with a strong background in one or more of the environmental sciences (e.g., ecology, geology, chemistry) and some cross-training in other relevant sciences, engineering, planning, or law/policy. The successful candidate will support ongoing environmental investigation and remediation projects, typically associated with major waterways. Advanced degree in a related field required. A strong working knowledge of environmental processes (physical, chemical, and biological) and data analysis is essential. Experience in freshwater/ estuarine systems, sediment management, and/or risk assessment is a plus. Candidates must be highly organized with 3+ years experience, plus excellent communication skills, including writing, and proficiency with software such as MS Excel and ArcGIS.
